A: Contact the Universal City Public Works Department at (210) 658-5365 or use the Citizen Request Form; if there is a dangerous road condition and it is after normal working hours you contact the Universal City Police Department at (210) 658-5353.
Q: Whom do I call with traffic signal complaint?
A: Problems with the traffic signals on Pat Booker Road, Loop 1604 intersections and FM 78 should be directed to the Texas Department of Transportation at (210) 615-5975.
If you spot a problem with the traffic signals on Kitty Hawk Road at the HEB entrance, Kitty Hawk Road and Old Cimarron Trail or Kitty Hawk Road and Universal City Boulevard please contact the Public Works Center at (210) 658-5364 M-F, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. or use the Citizen Request Form, after normal working hours please call the Police Department at (210) 658-5353.
Q: Who repairs and/or replaces burned out or damaged street lights?
A: You can contact City Public Service at (210) 353-4357 or go to the CPS website at www.cpsenergy.com to report non-operating street lights.
Residents living east of Cibolo Creek who are Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative (GVEC) customers can call (210) 658-7033 to report street light or electric outages.
Q: Will the City repair/replace the sidewalk in front of my home?
A: Sidewalks in Universal City are the responsibility of the property owner. The only instance where the City will replace a sidewalk is if it is disturbed in the process of replacing or repairing a city water or sewer line.
Q: Will the City repair my drive approach?
A: No, the City is not responsible for drive approach maintenance. As with sidewalks, the only time the City will repair/replace a drive approach is if it is disturbed or damaged during the course of repairing a city water or sewer main.
Q: I have a water leak or my home is without water, what do I do?
A: Please contact Utilities Administration at (210) 659-0333, option 2, M-F 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., to report the leak or to see if your address is in an area that is affected by any water repairs or if your address was scheduled for disconnection due to non-payment.
Q: Whom should I contact if there is water coming from a meter box, the street or a fire hydrant?
