Family History Workshops with Frank and Linda Faulkner
Saturday, October 9, 2021
Frank Faulkner, former manager of the Texana/Genealogy Room at the San Antonio Public Library, and Linda Faulkner, a teacher, will offer a series of introductory family history workshops at the Universal City Public Library this fall. The goal of the four Saturday morning classes is to outline the steps in an organized family history search process: Creating a research plan based on current knowledge and available resources; developing strategies for working through the plan, and solving various problems that emerge as more is learned.
The first class, Beginning the Search, will take place Saturday, September 11 from 10 AM to noon in the General’s Activity Room. The series will continue October 9, November 13, and December 11.
Classes are free and each class will include a lecture and instructional time in the library’s computer lab.
