What is the process for adoption and what is the cost?
Come to the shelter during adoption hours (M-F 10:00 am – 4:00 pm; Sat. 10:00 am – 3:00 pm)

Spend some time getting to know some of our homeless pets.

Meet with an adoption counselor to discuss your plans and expectations to make sure the pet you choose is a good match for your lifestyle and preferences.

Make a final decision about the right pet for your family. Please remember that adopting a pet should not be entered into lightly.

Adoption cost for cats or dogs is $75.00

The fee includes:

Dogs:
City license
Spay/Neuter
Vaccinations for distemper
Rabies Vaccination
Deworming for round and hook worms
Parvo distemper vaccination
Bordetella vaccination
Dog Flu vaccination
Heartworm check for animals over 5 months old
Microchipping

Cats:
City License
Spay/Neuter
Feline Three-Way Vaccination
Rabies Vaccination
Deworming for round and hook worms
Microchipping
