The celebration is scheduled for Saturday, March 14th at 10 a.m., kicking off downtown.  It will begin with a brief ceremony at the bandstand at the Main Plaza. It is planned to travel along West San Antonio Street, beginning at Hill Avenue, around Main Plaza, then back down West San Antonio and ending at Hill Avenue. 

Free parking is available at several lots in the immediate area.  You can visit newbraunfels.gov/parknbtx for options. 

The 42-year-old Taylor's win has been celebrated by millions, including other moms. She says she almost gave up on her Olympic dreams, but pressed on with the support of her coach, husband, family, and those who provided care for her two hearing impaired sons.
