Borrow ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines to read on your phone or tablet using the Libby app by OverDrive. Free with your library card! This collection is made possible through Lone Star Digital Library, a regional consortium of South Texas libraries.  

You are allowed 8 digital check-outs at one time. Titles checked out automatically expire at the end of the 14 day lending period. Access to this collection is available through the Libby app or Overdrive website. Login with your library card number and password/pin.

Due to the unexpected closure of Baker & Taylor, access to Boundless will end on December 15, 2025. The Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC) is exploring all options to move the E-Read Texas program to another vendor, but a new app likely won’t be available until March 2026 at the earliest.

Unfortunately, this means there will be about two months with no e-book/audiobook access. Checkout history, wish lists, and holds will not transfer from Boundless to the new app, so please make a note of what you have on your lists if you want to retain this information. If you have any questions, please contact library staff, and thank you for your patience as we work through this unexpected challenge.

 The Boundless app is a free service via the E-Read Texas program that is available to all library patrons with an active library card. The app is administered by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC).

Once you download the app or use the web version, you can create user profiles within your account. Sign up all members of your family with teen and kid friendly experiences!  You are allowed 20 digital check-outs at one time. Titles automatically expire at the end of the lending period of 21 days.
