The Universal City Fire Department and American Red Cross want to keep the citizens of Universal City safe from the devastating effects of fire by providing a free home smoke detector inspection and replacement program.

Call 659-0333 Ext. 785 and schedule an appointment to have your home Smoke Detector Inspected and a firefighter will:

• Inspect your current detectors for proper installation or defects
• Replace (2) defective battery operated detectors or install new batteries (2) if needed
• Conduct a Courtesy Home Fire Safety Survey of your home

All services are provided free of charge.
