Use the Portal Link to access the new permitting software system. Create an account and apply for a contractor registration, if applicable. After the account registration is approved, application for a permit(s) can be submitted through the portal. If already registered in the old permitting system, the registration fee for the new system will be waived.

Note to contractors and homeowners: Contractors and homeowners need to be aware of the 2021 Code requirement for the installation of Carbon Monoxide Alarms. This requirement applies to plumbing, mechanical and electrical contractors as well. Click here to see a primer on the requirement.Permits are required for the following prior to commencing work:

- Plumbing – including excavation and/or trenching of water, sewer and/or gas service systems; water heaters and water softener systems.

- Lawn irrigation systems – including installation and/or replacement of double check valves, backflow prevention assemblies, pressure reduction valves, etc.

Permit Fee Refund Policy
All permit fee refund requests will be reviewed by the Development Services Director. Any permit fee refund issued shall deduct 15% of the permit fee amount with a maximum fee of $50.00, per Ordinance 361-Z-2019.
